Bio
Ben Reed is a Chicago based editorial, documentary, and advertising photographer who specializes in environmental and studio portraiture. He earned his BFA from Columbia College Chicago, where he developed a love for shooting medium and large format film. Ben also has an extensive background in the science of photography, large-scale location and studio lighting, and graphic design—all of which are apparent in his work. Ben has an exceptional sense of composition, timing, and lighting; he skillfully combines these elements to create deeply resonant and compelling photographs.
